I'm trying something different with my style. Trying to really focus my attention on controlling the textures and being intentional with them. There is still that intuitive drive with my paintings, but I'm not subject to the whims of the textures that I put down. I was inspired a bit by how turningshadow paints and how he draws the attention of the viewer with intense colors.
